Hyde Park Garden Fair

Chicago's Oldest Community Garden Sale

The Hyde Park Garden Fair will help fulfill your garden needs. If you are dreaming of a lush, beautiful garden, you will find hundreds of flats of annuals in every color, large numbers and varieties of perennials, hanging baskets, geraniums, and unique vines, trees, shrubs, and wildflowers. (And don't forget the herbs and veggies!)

The annual Fall Bulb and Mum Sale for 2018 will be held Saturday, September 15 from 9 to 4. Hope for great weather!

About the Fair

Spring Fair

The Spring Garden Fair includes 10 plant departments (at right), and supports many special projects (see "About Us"). In early spring, members of the Garden Fair visit nurseries from Wisconsin to Indiana to hand-pick thousands of plants, based on years of gardening experience and emphasizing varieties suitable for city gardens—for example, those that are shade-tolerant or fit into smaller spaces.

Fall Fair

The Fall Bulb and Mum sale is scheduled for Saturday, September 15, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. We'll have tons of bulbs, direct from Holland, including tulips, hyacinths, crocuses, daffodils, and specialty bulbs like alliums. There is always a wide assortment of mums for fall color, seasonal perennials, and house plants (including air plants and maybe even carnivorous plants!).
